• Eligibility
  18 years old or older on the race day and who fulfills the following conditions and whose participation is approved by the organizer.

  • General Entry
    Eligible to finish the race under 2 hours and 35 minutes.
  • People with Disability (excluding wheelchair)
    Eligible to finish the race under 2 hours and 35 minutes.
    ※One guide runner per person is permitted based on the conditions set forth by the organizer (no guide animals allowed).
  • Wheelchair General Entry
    Athletes who can finish half marathon under 1 hour and 40 minutes in a racing wheelchair.
  • Elite Athletes
    • Athletes, registered with the JAAF in fiscal 2022 who satisfy the requirements set forth by the JAAF.
    • Invited Athletes (national and international runners nominated by the organizer and/or the JAAF).
  • Elite Para Athletes
    • Athletes registered with the Japan Para Athletics (JPA) and/or Japanese Para Sports Association (JPSA) who hold a valid classification and meet the requirements set forth separately.
    • Invited Athletes (national and international para athletes nominated by the organizer and/or JPA/JPSA).

• Competition Rules
  • The races will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of the World Athletics, JAAF and the Race Organizer.
    Doping control will be conducted abiding to World Athletics Anti-Doping Regulations.
  • World Para Athletics Rules and Regulations and the competition rules of the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon applies to the all para elite athletes. Doping control is conducted abiding to World Para Athletics Anti-Doping Regulations.
• Event Fee
  20,700 JPY　(Entry, Commemorative T-shirts, Covid testing, insurance, handling and tax included)
  *Only the charity runners will receive the charty T-shirts and commemorative T-shirts.
  ** All finishers will receive a finisher robe and a finisher medal.
  *** As part of the COVID-19 countermeasures, pre-race testing is planned to be conducted. However, if the testing doesn't take place due to any changes in countermeasures planned in accordance with the laws on infectious diseases, the event fee will be partially refunded.

    ※Packet Pick-up times will be assigned within a specific time frame.
    ※Must enter 30 minutes before the closing time for both Packet Pick-up and the EXPO.
    ※The registered runner must conduct Packet Pick-up in person.
    ※Packet Pick-up is not available on race day.
