Additional Information on Invited and Elite Athletes
We are pleased to announce additional athletes who have been confirmed to participate following the announcement of the para athlete and Elite Athlete Fields on August 26.
■ Addition: Invited Para Athlete T53/T54 (Women)
No.603 NAKAMINE, Tsubasa (Okinawa / TESS Engineering)
Regarding the participation of NAKAMINE, Tsubasa, an invited para athlete in the T53/T54 category, SOEJIMA, Masazumi, Wheelchair Race Director, commented as follows:
“Last year, after a head-to-head battle right before the finish line, NAKAMINE edged out TSUCHIDA for the victory. I expect the two of them to lead the pack again this year, but I hope the other two runners will stick close to them to achieve their own goals. I am looking forward to another exciting race like last year’s.”
