● Traffic restrictions will be taken place on the course, but please exercise caution, as marathon vehicles will also drive on the course.● Depending on running conditions and other factors, pedestrians, wheelchair users, automobiles and the like may be allowed to cross the course. We appreciate your cooperation.● When leaving the course to use restrooms or other reasons, please be mindful of pedestrians. Sidewalks are for pedestrians first. Take great care to avoid conflict with them.● For your safety, please do not run off the course.● In the event of an accident, fire, or other emergencies during the race, emergency vehicles may drive through the course. In such cases, please follow the instructions of the course staff and allow the emergency vehicles to pass by.● The use of earphones or headphones is extremely dangerous, as they can block out surrounding sounds. If you intend to use earphones or headphones, please do so in a way that allows you to hear surrounding sounds, such as setting the volume low or only using one earphone.● Due to traffic, security and operational reasons, there will be cut-off points. (Refer to P.11)● Please follow the instructions of the race officials and board the sweep buses to the Japan National Stadium.● Even if it is not yet the gate closing time, if referees determine that it would be clearly impossible to reach the cut off point by the cut off time, the referees may order the runner to stop the race.● Runners may be asked to leave the course even after passing the checkpoint, if the referee judge that runners cannot finish within the cut off time.● Medical stations will be located in the Japan National Stadium, along the course. (Refer to P.7) The medical stations are to provide first aid to participants. First aid will be provided with the equipment available in the medical stations. We request that all participants understand the purpose of the medical stations and follow all instructions from staff members.First aid staff can be identifiedby their red uniforms! If you feel unwell,talk to a first aid staff member.● Mobile teams● BLS teams● Pace-setters will run as per the set times below.Set time● There will be six Aid Stations. Food will be available at two of these Aid Stations. (See P.11)● Make sure to dispose of all garbage from the aid stations to the garbage cans.● The Organizer will not be held responsible for fluids or food taken outside of the provided aid stations.● Paper cups will be collected separately. Please place them in designated garbage cans.● Please notify that you are with-drawing from the race to one of the race officials, and proceed to the nearest cut off point. We will hand out race participant towels when you get off the sweep bus.● Runners who withdraw must remove the barcode from their bib and hand it to referees.Gross time ▶Net time ▶* Race results will be recorded based on the gross time from the starting gun until the pacesetter finishes the race. The set time is only a guideline. They are not guaranteed to finish at a set target time.There will be restroomsigns along the course.Please use the design-ated toilet facilities.
