Art x Turning Point Tower / “YNK” TURNING POINT to be Setup
At the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon 2025, we would like to introduce the special turning point on the course and having it fuse with art, in collaboration with our Official Partner, Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd. (“Tokyo Tatemono”). The Nihonbashi area which is the setting of the stage, encompassing Yaesu, Nihonbashi, and Kyobashi, is known as the “YNK” area. For the race, we have named the turning point the “YNK” TURNING POINT, symbolizing our aspiration to revitalize the region through diverse cultures, including sports.
The turning point tower will feature artwork by Amanda Angela Soenoko, titled “The Mystic’s Dreams.” This piece won the Tokyo Tatemono|Brillia Prize at the “HERALBONY Art Prize 2025 Presented by Tokyo Tatemono|Brillia” an international award for artists with disabilities sponsored by Tokyo Tatemono.

We also plan to have a fixed-point camera project runners running through the turning point on a screen to be set up at the “YNK” TURNING POINT. We hope you will enjoy it!
In addition, we are considering organizing events related to the race in front of the Tokyo Tatemono Nihonbashi building located close to the area.
Further, a special interview with Tokyo Tatemono is streaming now.
